Bill worked in the aerospace industry working on the Inerital Upper Stage for Boeing and also worked on the B-2 Bomber at Edwards AFB. I like to say he still works in flight. Bill does smoothly finished birds which show the grain of the wood, and also carves birds with etched feathers on more uniform lighter colored woods. Prices vary depending on bases the birds are mounted on, and the complexity of the carving. Bill`s bases are sculptural and beautiful in themselves. Add one or more hand carved perched birds and you have a true treasure.
