Welcome to "Twin Rivers"

This dining table, “Twin Rivers”, is massive, at 10 feet long. Live edge local Bigleaf Quilt Maple wood is featured. The river has a subtle glacial blue color tint.

Below: Twin Rivers in it’s final home, but shown on temporary legs. Photos coming soon of the custom steel base. The setting is perfect for the ocean-y color tint and glossy finish.

This river table is shown above in progress early on. The base pour has been done to seal things up.

Shown Below: The inside edges of both outside pieces have been worked to look natural. They were straight cuts to begin with. The center piece is an exceptionally colored and figured quilted maple slab.

Below: I sanded all the wood one final time and did two separate pours of 3 gallons each for a total of 6 gallons of tinted epoxy so far. I waited a few days between pours to let the epoxy cure.

Things are looking good, the color is not well represented in these photos  due to the dark background and Tyvek tape below the rivers.

The pours will level out with the next few for a uniform top. There will be cure times between coats so the end surface is smooth.
